A refreshing new website for Singapore’s largest annual architecture festival.

Archifest has reached a new milestone with a rebrand by Somewhere Else. For a more consistent experience with the offline event, elements from the identity were extended to the online platform. We adapted the archetypal roof motif from the logo into key digital elements such as buttons and hovers, building silhouettes formed a parallax background for the site, and dotted grid lines are incorporated as borders or dividers.

Retractable sections for more efficient space usage.

Given the content-heavy nature of a festival, event information needed to be found easily and presented very clearly. Being event-goers ourselves, we knew that summarised programme schedules are crucial for visitors to plan and decide which event to head for. At the same time, if we had to attend an event, we would need to quickly look up the event page for details and know how to get there easily.

Design elements

The site is organised into distinct programmatic sections. Some content features include:

  1. Date/Time Information, with a link to the an overall Calendar page
  2. Location Information, with a link to Google Maps for Directions
  3. Event Cards for the summary page, containing essential information at a glance
  4. Direct event booking buttons, which also indicate availability
